Well, in true Earth Day fashion, here are some lovely ways to get outdoors this long weekend! (Fingers crossed for good weather — this snow needs to melt!)
🌎🌎🌎

- Cascadilla Gorge Trail (right by campus)!
- Ithaca Falls Trail (more of a short walk than a hike)
- Buttermilk Falls Gorge Trail
- Robert H. Treman State Park
- Campus Activities and Student & Campus Life are offering plenty of fun, outdoorsy, & social-distanced activities this weekend! Head to scl.cornell.edu/pridedays or CampusGroups to sign up!
- April 22 at 8pm – Movies on the Arts Quad
- April 23 & 24 from 1-3pm – Spring Days on the Arts Quad
- April 25 from 1-3pm – North Campus Takeover
- April 26 from 1-3pm – Carnelian Red Day on the Arts Quad
- April 27 – Cornell Charter Day
- Throughout the whole weekend – virtual photo booth and Instagram challenge
- Eats
- Ithaca Farmers Market is open from 9am-3pm on Saturday
- Have a picnic at Sunset Park — only a quick walk from North Campus!
- Lots of restaurants in Collegetown and Ithaca Commons are now offer plenty of outdoor, distanced seating — make sure to make a reservation in advance but it is lovely to sit outside!
- Finally…
- We’re not going to tell you what to do… but if you can, try to take a break from your schoolwork. Your mind, brain, and body need it — even if you don’t think that’s the case. Try to shake up your routine the next few days and enjoy the wonderful space around you with your favorite people. So leave your computer at home and get some fresh air this weekend 🙂
Best,
Your Career Assistant Team at the CEC!
