Abbott Nutrition Summer 2024 Nutrition Consumer Sales Internship

Position Description

The Consumer Sales internship will provide hands-on experience with broad exposure to the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) disciplines within Abbott Nutrition.

The areas of focus could include: Direct Sales, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Sales Analytics, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations. The Consumer Sales Force is responsible for the Abbott Nutrition sales of over 300 retailers which include Walmart, Target, Kroger, Costco, Sam’s Club, CVS, Walgreens and Amazon. Each intern will be assigned a meaningful and challenging assignment that will be geared towards a specific Abbott Nutrition business need. The intern will have an opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills and analytical ability throughout their assignment. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Completed at least three years of college education before beginning internship

  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree

  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

  • Strong academic performance

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

Research & Development Intern (Summer 2024)

Job purpose:

  • The Fairlife internship experience provides an opportunity to work the Summer of 2024 with Fairlife, LLC Research and Development (R&D) team, at our headquarters in Chicago, IL. This internship will be focused on supporting R&D initiatives in alignment with company objectives. This in-person summer program takes place over 11 weeks providing interns with a real sense of Fairlife culture and working environment.

Skills/qualifications required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program, entering the fall semester as a junior or senior (preferred)
  • Preferred focus on Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemical Engineering or Food process engineering or closely related field
  • Possess a strong technical foundation in the sciences; dairy knowledge desired but not required
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, or higher
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team setting
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Unilever 2024 Nutrition Science and Innovation Summer Internship

Position Qualifications

  • Student currently in a Bachelor Program for Nutrition Science or comparable life science degree

  • Broad knowledge and interest in Nutrition Science

  • Ability to protect IP generation from within Unilever

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner

  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and ability to find creative solutions

  • Ability to work successfully both independently and in a ‘team-based’ collaborative environment

Dietetics Internship at Cornell

Description: The Cornell Dietetics Internship (DI) provides community, clinical, management, and research experiences through partnership with the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). It prepares graduates for evidence-based dietetics practice as RDs/RDNs, leadership in the practice, and for translation research to inform the practice.

Undergraduate students may apply to this program under one of the following options:

  • Apply to both the DI and MS + Dietetics track offered by the Division of Nutritional Sciences (DNS). Accepted students will begin the DI in year 2 of the MS + Dietetics track.
  • Apply to the DI as a Cornell PhD student to complete the DI in the final year of the PhD program.

Interns begin in August at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and transition to the University of Rochester Medical Center in January. The program ends in May.
