Engage Chicago

Northwestern University’s Engage Chicago is an eight-week residential summer program (runs from June 16 to August 9). There will be an orientation program on the first day to introduce you to all aspects of Chicago for undergraduate students completing their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. Students will attend a series of weekly seminars and field experiences that explore careers in medicine, public health, health policy, and related fields. The program aims to address the issue of building an effective healthcare system in a given society or community.

 Medical Affairs Summer Internship at Reckitt 

Reckitt is looking for current students to participate in a summer internship focused on medical product development with a global scope. They are looking for applicants with an understanding of the product development process and creative thinkers interested in taking on leadership roles. The program is 10 weeks beginning in May 2024.

Youth Counseling and Mental Health- Paid Job/Summer Internship at Berkshire Sports Academy

Location: East Otis, MA

Live and have fun alongside girls aged 8-17 in a residential camp setting. Build genuine relationships with our athletes, ensuring we meet their mental, emotional, and social needs during their stay. This internship runs from June to August of 2024

Qualifications :

-Academic background in counseling, child development, or related fields.

-Ability to work both independently and alongside the camp’s leadership team

-Previous camp experience is a plus.

CVS Health Finance Internship

Description: The CVS Health Finance Internship is an 11-week full-time internship which starts from May 28th to August 9th 2024. Interns will have the ability to gain real work experience through working on projects and participating in professional growth opportunities such as networking, development, and career exploration activities. Interns will be able to apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a post-graduation role.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Have an anticipated graduation between September 2024 and August 2025
  • Anticipated completion of bachelor’s degree program by full-time start date (January 2025 through August 2025) or equivalent experience. Master’s students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master’s/MBA program immediately following your bachelor’s degree) may be considered
  • Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics or similar quantitative majors

Berkeley Research Groups Public Health/Healthcare Administration Consulting Internship

Description: The Berkeley Research Group Public Health/Healthcare Administration Consulting Internship is an approximately 8-week internship for students with an expected graduated date between December 2024 and July 2025.

Some responsibilities of a Berkeley Research Group Summer Associate intern include but are not limited to

  • Working across multidisciplinary teams, including federal policy, state policy, data, market research, strategy, and compliance
  • Performing primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative research through data collection and phone interviews
  • Researching and analyzing legislation, regulation, and other healthcare trends and understand the implications for health care businesses/practices

This internship, along with under Berkeley Research Group internships, are in various locations including New York, NY, Washington, DC, and Hunt Valley, MD.


Provider Operations Intern at Spring Health

Spring Health is looking for a 2024 Summer Intern to own the research, design, and implementation of a provider experience-focused initiative on the Provider Operations team. In partnership with the internship Manager, the Intern will select and pursue a project of personal interest with the potential to impact the entire Spring Health provider network. Example project areas include:

  • Operational efficiency: identify an internal workflow and conduct Lean process improvement with a group of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Systems enhancement: identify a feature underutilized in a current platform (such as Salesforce and Zendesk) and develop standard operating procedures and reporting tools for its implementation
  • Network Gaps: help us ensure members can find the right mental health provider for them by analyzing our network, identifying gaps, and building a program to attract, retain, and engage providers from all backgrounds and specialties
  • Provider appreciation initiatives: partner with Provider Support to design and pilot an appreciation campaign to recognize providers with milestone achievements

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Make an immediate impact on provider experience by completing a project that will improve internal processes, build resources, or evaluate a potential new initiative
  • Partner with various leaders on the Provider Operations team to learn more about different career pathways within Operations
  • Experience mentorship and leadership coaching in the fundamentals of early career development
  • Learn more about data collection and deriving insights from data
  • Learn more about common corporate systems such as Salesforce and Google Office Suite
