Coming from Mexico City, Mexico, Anahi is a fourth-year student majoring in Design and Environmental Analysis and a minor in Human Development. Her preferred pronouns are she/her/hers.

I spent my early years in Mexico City, immersed in the dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit of my family. Adaptability and a receptiveness to change have been my driving forces, which I cultivated through numerous relocations that have compelled me to start anew and embrace diverse cultures. Just as I’ve thrived amidst the shifts in my life, I aspire to instill this very mindset in you!
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I hold a strong liking for hospitality design and the art of cultivating client relationships, which is currently shaping my path as I engage in extracurricular activities and pursue professional opportunities.
What are you involved in on campus?
I am a varsity athlete for the Cornell Equestrian Team. I am part of the hospitality and design club and a friend of a farmworkers tutor. Additionally, I am the External Marketing Director for Alpha Xi.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to do all kinds of fitness activities, from yoga, cycling to skiing and scuba diving. I really enjoy reading a good book, meditating, and spending time with my family and friends.
