Coming from Fishkill, New York, Arden is a junior studying Design & Environmental Analysis. Her preferred pronouns are she/her.
Growing up, I explored a range of interests: business, cognitive science, and equity and inclusion, to name a few. As a student in the College of Human Ecology, I’ve had the opportunity to delve deeper into all of these disciplines as well as discover new ones. Through my coursework, I’ve found a passion for experience design and human factors design.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
The intersection of technology and design for the common good appeals to me. Problem-solving and innovation motivate me. Civic engagement and equity are important to me. Whatever my path may be, I hope to enhance the wellbeing of individuals and even entire communities.
What are you involved in on campus?
On campus, I am an undergraduate researcher at Hybrid Body Lab and Meta Design & Technology Lab. In addition to serving as a Career Assistant at the Career Exploration Center, I am also a member of the Cornell Women’s Club Volleyball team and the College of Human Ecology Academic Integrity Hearing Board.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love matcha, any and all athletic activities, NYT games, and organizing my Spotify playlists!
