“Tell me about yourself.”

I was born in upstate New York but raised in Beijing, China. Transitioning back to the US was quite stressful initially, but the College of Human Ecology has been such a welcoming community, especially with my friends in Design + Environmental Analysis. I have ambitiously taken on 3 intended minors– Business, Psychology, and Information Science– but I’m not sure if they can be completed on time. I’m excited to meet even more people from this College through my time at the CEC!

Where do you see yourself in the future?

As an indecisive overthinker, my plans for the future change frequently. Recently, I’ve been hoping to pursue a design strategist/design consultant career in the future as I am passionate about a wide range of design areas.

What are you involved in on campus?

Outside of the CEC, I’m involved in the dance community (Assorted Aces and E.motion), Cornell Asian Pacific Student Union (CAPSU), and Medium Design Collective (MDC).

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love street dance and that extends to watching choreographies and window shopping for dancewear on top of dancing myself. You can also find me trying out new cooking and coffee recipes on the daily.
