“Tell me about yourself.”
Hi, I’m Cuky, pronounced as “Q-kee”. As an international student and first-generation, I grew up in Shanghai, China. I love College of Human Ecology, because it is such an interdisciplinary college with very unique vision and a group of lovely people. At CEC, I envision collaborating with other great compassionate, professional, and action-driven assistants and creating more resources for international students based on my personal experience at Cornell.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
In the future, I plan to pursue a career in healthcare, such as epidemiology, infectious disease, and healthcare management. I’m also looking for diverse interdisciplinary tracks, potential options include health consulting and biostatistics. I hope to explore my career path while supporting others with their profiles!
What are you involved in on campus?
On campus, I’m a member of the Division of Nutritional Science student advisor team. I’m also involved in Engineering World Health, Cornell Chinese Student and Scholar Association and Amber Dance Troupe. I am also an undergraduate research assistant at Johnson Lab.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I would dance (both contemporary and Chinese Dance), play piano or ukulele, play tennis, and take a walk in nature. I love photography as well!
