The College of Human Ecology Career Assistant Program
The Student Career Assistant Program provides a valuable link between Human Ecology students and the Office of Career Development. Career Assistants provide individual assistance and conduct referrals for students. They are trained to help other students prepare for application & hiring processes through resume & cover letter critiques and mock interviews. The Career Exploration Center serves as an integral part of the Career Development Office, providing outreach to the College and helping to determine the focus of career development workshops and programs. Additionally, the Career Assistant program is a unique leadership opportunity for undergraduate students who are interested in helping others while assessing and working on their own career development. Career Assistants initiate and undertake special projects to enhance the Career Center’s purpose and function. If this sounds like something you want to do, be sure to apply!
