This opportunity is a yearlong, language training and cultural immersion at a job placement aligned with your interests in Asia, composed of a beginning two months of intensive language training. Accepted applicants are contacted individually to discuss interests and experiences.

VIA Global Community Fellowship
This fellowship lasts 13-15 months providing an opportunity for graduating seniors to work at NGOs and schools across Asia to support community development and youth education. Applications are accepted from international and US citizens, and provides a living and housing stipend, medical insurance, and travel and language study grants.

This fellowship is open to college seniors and those in a gap between graduate school intending to pursue a pHd in applied physical and biological sciences, mathematics, or engineering. This can be coordinated with another awarding institution to receive maximum possible compensation. Applicants must be creative problem solvers and commit to helping the greater good.

This scholarship is a paid full-time job for 10-12 months in Washington DC, where fellows are research assistants to Carnegie’s senior scholars. Duties include conducting research and co-authoring journal articles, participating in meetings with high-level officials, and contributing to congressional testimonies. Requirements include a minimum 3.70 GPA, and related coursework and commitment to a career in international affairs.
Benefits: $4,000/month

This is a two-year program that propels recent graduates with a passion for public service into full-time positions in government where they are needed most, such as the Northeast and Midwest. Their goal is to achieve more equitable, people-centered policy outcomes.
Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package, with salary base starting from $45,000 to $75,000, and extensive mentorship

This scholarship promotes study abroad from May 1st to April 30th in all world regions for those receiving a federal Pell Grant during the time of application, promoting individual growth, and career readiness.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award
This award allows graduating college seniors to engage in a meaningful public service activity for one year before proceeding onto graduate school or a career. Projects that have the potential to be sustainable are favored, and many of the projects initiated by past award recipients continue to benefit people today.
Benefit: $30,000 stipend
Deadline: January 10, 2025
This scholarship targets alumni committed to public service, and work in positions critical in US national security, funding study abroad in world regions critical to US interests (outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand). The scholarship promotes long-term linguistic and cultural immersion.
