“Tell me about yourself.”

Hi, I’m Cuky, pronounced as “Q-ki”. I am a Global and Public Health Sciences major student. As an international student and first-generation, I grew up in Shanghai, China. I love College of Human Ecology, because it is such an interdisciplinary college with very unique vision and a group of lovely people. At CEC, I envision collaborating with other great compassionate, professional, and action-driven assistants and creating more resources for international students based on my personal experience at Cornell.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

In the future, I plan to pursue a career in public health, such as epidemiology, infectious disease, and healthcare management. I’m also looking for diverse interdisciplinary tracks, potential options include health consulting and biostatistics. I hope to explore my career path while supporting others with their profiles!

What are you involved in on campus?

On campus, I’m a member of the Division of Nutritional Science student advisor team. I’m also involved in Cornell Chinese Student and Scholar Association and Amber Dance Troupe.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I would dance (both contemporary and Chinese Dance), play piano or ukulele, play tennis, and take a walk in nature. I love photography as well!
