“Tell Me About Yourself”

I was born in Manhattan and spent my entire life there prior to Cornell. Growing up, I was pretty sheltered so before college I didn’t know how to do anything, and thanks to everyone I have met here, I now know how to fry an egg and do laundry (still can’t drive, ride a bike, or swim). Because of this, I understand the importance of meeting new people and learning from their experiences, and I would love to meet all of you who come to the CEC!

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I am interested in the intersection of business and life sciences, and I aspire to make impact by being at the forefront of new healthcare innovations within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. In the future I see myself working in strategy consulting in the life sciences field.

What are you involved in on campus?

During my undergrad, I was part of the Levitsky Research Group studying the biochemical and social determinants of age-related weight gain and the Person & Context (PAC) Lab studying the cognitive processes and implicit attitudes in social relationships. I also worked at the Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives and the Asian and Asian American Center (A3C). Currently besides the CEC, I’m involved with Emmaus Road Campus Church!

What do you like to do in your freetime?

Ever since I was young I’ve been obsessed with the NBA and playing basketball (LeBron is the G.O.A.T). I also love to cook and learn new recipes, do arts and crafts, and talk to my friends and spend time with them. I want a dog in the future to take up the rest of my freetime.
