“Tell Me About Yourself.”

I was born in South Korea but moved around very often throughout my childhood. I spent time in Korea, Singapore, Arizona, New York (Poughkeepsie and Albany), California, and now I’m back in NY for college! Because of this, I love getting to know new people and hanging out with new friends, and I’d love to get to know all of you who come to the CEC!

Where do you see yourself in the future?

While I grew up being interested in the widest variety of careers, I found myself always coming back to dreaming of becoming a dentist. I hope to have my own office one day and incorporate my passions for nutrition and healthcare equality into my job.

What are you involved in on campus?

Outside of the CEC, I am part of the Aydemir Lab where I help with research on the effects of nutrients like Manganese on neural functions. I am also part of the Cornell Figure Skating Club, Cornell Undergraduate Research Journal, Global Medical Missions Alliance, Cornell Pre-Dental Society, and Bethany Christian Campus Church!

What do you like to do in your freetime?

I love just talking to my friends and hanging out with them whenever I have time! When I’m in California I also love spending time with my dog. I’m also a huge homebody so simply sleeping or eating at home always makes me happy 🙂
